Mortgages

There is a mortgage for almost any need. Credit Scores are based on your credit history. If your credit is not perfect there is a lender who will work with you to make some corrections or changes so you will be able to get a better mortgage than you might think! Please contact me so I can put you in touch with a lender who has the best programs for your needs. A conservative rule is that one can qualify for 2.5 times their gross salary but the current lower interest rates can alter this formula! 

Agency?

Buyer's agent means the buyer has signed an agreement with the agent to allow the agent to represent them as a Buyer's Agent. The buyer must work exclusively with this agent. Sellers usually have a similar agreement with the agent who markets their property. Please contact me if you would like a booklet about agency or if you have questions.

Low interest rates are helping many people to get people qualified to buy.  It is still a "Buyer's Market". 

Purchasing?

CLOSING COSTS

Purchasers closing costs usually cost about 4% to 7% of the sales price depending on the amount of money down and the kind of mortgage program. Some of these costs can be paid by the seller. Sellers closing costs usually cost about 6% to 10% depending if seller pays any of purchasers closing costs. Please contact me if you have specific questions.

In 1829 an English chemist and mineralogist named James Louis Macie Smithson bequeathed a large sum of money to found the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. The Smithsonian Institution has remained faithful to his wish that no admission fee be charged! Please visit the link for the Smithsonian and be prepared for a treat.

I especially like the Glen Echo Puppet Theatre, National Zoo (become a FONZ {friend of the national zoo}), and Wheaton & Cabin John Regional Parks.
