A Kansas native, I've lived in Northern Virginia, specifically Springfield, since 2002.  After 21 years as a military family, moving a dozen or so times, we were ready to find a forever home.  Todd, my husband retired from the Army in 2008 and we became permanent VA residents.  I've grown to love my Virginia home and everyone around.  There's an incredible amount to do and see, I feel as though I've just scratched the surface of what's available!

An active Family Resource Group Leader while Todd was on Active duty, I found when we pcs'd to the area everything seemed to be more difficult than moving to a traditional military installation.  I decided that I would do all I could to help all families moving in and out of the area to have smooth transitions.  So much of our region is built around traffic, commuting, and distance between support members, the transition is a bit daunting, whether you live local or are coming from somewhere new.   I've been helping families with the transition almost from the moment we arrived and I LOVE IT!  Whether it's a transitioning military family for a move, or retirement, a long time resident of NoVA moving up or moving out, first time buyer just getting started, it gives me incredibe joy to ease whatever stress possible.

Todd and I have 3 grown daughters, 2 of which have made Northern VA home and one who is now a military spouse and continuing to traverse the world as a Marine wife.  Todd's dad lives with us and we have transplanted our nephew, Dyllan, to the area to help me continue to expand my services amd  help more people achieve their homeownership dreams and their rental needs met.  Nicole and her husband Greg, live nearby in Springfield, both MBA graduates from George Mason, Kelsey is a successful nurse at Loudon Hospital, also a Mason grad,  and finally Alyssa (you guessed it ANOTHER Mason Graduate) and Ryan are supporting the Marine Corp and their families.  

It continues to be my honor to team with folks who need help with their home needs, and what a humbling and wonderful experience to be trusted with what is, undoubtedly, one of the most stressful events in life.  That trust and bond is something, I never want to take for granted.
